Lipton Website Redesign
ART 3041: UX/UI Design | Spring 2024
The goal of this project is to redesign a website of our choice that contains usability issues to improve user experience. The website that I chose was Lipton because of the various problems I encountered when I visited the site. Based on the heuristic evaluation conducted, I identified issues with Lipton's error messaging, interfering design choices, and unnecessary questions, slowing down the functionality of the website.
For the website redesign, I focused on three essential pages: the product page, the review page, and the error message page. Focusing on the issues found during the heuristic evaluation, I organized the information on the pages in a clearer way so that the user could get the information at a glance. Along with improving the usability, I wanted to express the freshness and brightness of Lipton's tea. Therefore, I chose to use a bright yellow, similar to Lipton's logo, and a deep green to remind users of fresh tea.
